De Lage Vuursche

For the restaurant of Golfvereniging De Lage Vuursche, Hans Wilschut created four commissioned photographic works. In this series, the golf course appears not simply as a sporting environment, but as a carefully composed landscape in which order, rhythm and stillness come together.

The images focus on the subtle interplay between designed nature and human intervention, revealing how the identity of this place resides precisely in nuance, precision and atmosphere. Within the restaurant, the works function as more than mere visual framing. They bring the landscape indoors and place the space in direct relation to its surroundings, creating a natural coherence between interior, view and location. In this way, the photographs add not only an aesthetic dimension, but also deepen the character of the place as a whole.
