Non Static Architectural Encounters

This exhibition brings together a number of works in which architecture appears as a carrier of social narratives. At Galerie van den Berge, Hans Wilschut presents Single Works from the period 2019 to 2023, the video work Suez, and in a separate space the series Atlantis of Galicia, consisting of seven photographic works and a video.

In this exhibition, the built environment takes on something elusive. Buildings, a reservoir, and urban structures appear as traces of human action, of living together, desire, and history. The works on view open up a visual space in which stillness and movement, distance and proximity, fiction and reality flow into one another.
