3 in Beeld-Landschappen
In the former V&D building in Alphen aan den Rijn, a remarkable exhibition brings together work by Gerco de Ruijter, Ellen Kooi, and Hans Wilschut, curated by Cees Verboom. Shown on a monumental scale, the works are given the space to fully unfold, allowing the building itself to become part of the experience. Within the vacant department store, large-format images open up a compelling dialogue between landscape, urban space, and imagination. In this temporary and charged setting, the exhibition gains an added intensity, becoming at once spatial, visual, and strikingly direct.
