Fotofestival Visions of Green Cities

Stichting De Stad Verbeeldt presents photographic narratives by photographers such as Baukje Venema and Gerlinde Schrijver, alongside work by amateur photographers, students from Deltion and Cibap, and pupils from Meander College. As part of the festival, Hans Wilschut presents his project Visions on Green, in which he explores the outskirts of Zwolle.

Along the edges of the city, he photographed places where urban development and nature intersect, transition zones that reveal how the city relates to its green surroundings. During the festival, the travelling exhibition of the Zilveren Camera will also be on view this year, returning to Zwolle for the seventh time. With more than 150 works of journalistic and documentary photography, the exhibition offers an overview of the most important events of 2024. The presentation includes ten categories and features award winning narrative projects by, among others, Çigdem Yüksel, Kadir van Lohuizen and Hester den Boer.
