Fried Contemporary

Since the iPhone 4, Hans Wilschut has been developing the online project Early Morning Observations, which he publishes via Facebook and Twitter. At regular intervals, he posts photographs taken with an iPhone and uploaded almost immediately after they are made. The images offer an intimate glimpse into his way of thinking and can sometimes be read as preliminary studies for his monumental photographic works. Fried Contemporary now presents, for the first time, a selection from this distinctive and spontaneous project in the gallery’s collectors room.

The exhibition opens on Thursday, January 21, from 6 to 8 pm. The closing event of the exhibition takes place on Saturday, March 5, at 2 pm.
