City Views. Utrecht in transition.
Utrecht is changing at a rapid pace. In the city centre and along its edges, new buildings are rising, neighbourhoods are shifting, and familiar places are taking on new meanings. The exhibition Stadsgezichten. Utrecht in transitie captures this movement through the work of ten photographers, each showing in their own way how the city is rewriting itself and how its residents relate to these changes.
The exhibition shows that urban development is not only a matter of building, but also of looking, experiencing, and adapting. Between construction sites, new residential areas, and changing cityscapes, a multifaceted image emerges of a city that is constantly taking shape. Stadsgezichten. Utrecht in transitie is a collaboration between Het Utrechts Archief and the Foundation for Urban Photography Utrecht, featuring work by Hans Wilschut, Raymond Rutting, Anoek Steketee, Gerco de Ruijter, Poike Stomps, Mike Roelofs in collaboration with Rob van Scheers, Angeliek de Jonge, Raimond Wouda, Niels Stomps, and Petra Stavast.
