Make an inquiryThe work Zero Emission portrays the port of Salerno in the South West of Italy. The port played an leading role in the industrial and commercial development of the South of Italy. It is an important transit port for the automotive industry. The work is inspired by the early work Salerno I by Andreas Gursky, who photographed the harbor in 1990.
In the meantime, the city of Salerno has changed considerably, but the port has kept its shape in this almost classical landscape. The work Zero Emission reflects on the future of the car industry, which will face the greatest challenge in the coming years to leave the fossil fuel era behind.
