Ceagesp, located at the Vila Leopoldina district in the West of São Paulo, is the largest warehouse in the city and the third largest wholesale market in the world. The area never sleeps. Trucks filled with fruits, vegetables, fish and plants, form a constant flow.
Supply and Demand demonstrates the beating heart of the metropolis and poses questions to the viewer: exactly how many supplies does a city of almost 22 million citizens require, and how can such a clearly gargantuan chain of production and distribution function?
